With over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, Dr. Chorich brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and a genuine passion for advancing the science of ophthalmology, all in service of improving patient outcomes.

Medical Degree
Dr. Chorich earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, the same institution where he would go on to build a distinguished career in academic medicine and surgical training.
Internship
He completed a preliminary medicine internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital (now OhioHealth) in Columbus, Ohio, gaining a strong foundation in general medicine before focusing his expertise in ophthalmology.
Ophthalmology Residency
Dr. Chorich completed his ophthalmology residency training at The Ohio State University Department of Ophthalmology, where he developed the clinical expertise that would define his surgical career.
Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship
Following residency, Dr. Chorich completed a highly competitive two-year Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at The Ohio State University, one of the most advanced subspecialty training programs in the country, cementing his standing as a leading expert in complex retinal surgery.
From 1998 to 2006, Dr. Chorich served as a full-time faculty member of The Ohio State University Department of Ophthalmology, where he was instrumental in training medical students, ophthalmology residents, and vitreoretinal surgery fellows.
