Meet Dr. Lacey Jacobs

Dr. Jacobs completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Bronzeville, Chicago.  

As part of her optometric education, she completed externship training at the University of Kentucky Advanced Eye Care and Ophthalmology, the Cincinnati VAMC, Harper’s Point Eye Associates, and the Illinois Eye Institute.  Her clinical rotations focused on the treatment and management of advanced ocular disease, emergency eye care, oculoplastics, specialty contact lenses, senior vision, low vision, pediatrics, vision therapy, dry eye treatment and primary eye care.  

Before joining AMAEyes, Dr. Jacobs worked with a large-scale practice, providing care across several Central Ohio locations, including Grove City, Columbus, and Marysville. 

With a strong focus on comprehensive vision health, Dr Jacobs specializes in routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and diagnosis and management of ocular disease.  

She values community involvement and has volunteered with local and national organizations to help expand access to eye care. Her volunteer experience includes work with Prevent Blindness, the Vision Center at Faith Mission Homeless Shelter, Remote Area Medical (RAM) mission trips, and Special Olympics Ohio. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Jacobs enjoys working out and spending time with her friends and family, including her husband and daughter.
